About working from home

We’ve had to shift the way everything works this year, especially our relationships, be it at work or with our loved ones. It’s been especially hard for us in the creative industry, since our work mainly deals with customers face-to-face, so we’ve had to diversify some aspects of the business as well, such as bringing our makeup lessons online.

We all should know the struggle of online at this point. “Are you there?” “Can you hear me?“ “now?” “can you hear me now?”, “I’ll send you the link”, “I don’t know how to unmute!” and other quite frustrating situations! But we should laugh about the fact that we are glued to our phones all the time, and we are still learning the tricks of the likes of Zoom and Google Meet.

Even though it may feel like a prison to some, this is actually what we’ve been dreaming of when in the office! Wearing your cosy pyjama pants and slippers while at your desk? Remember you swore you’d wash your hair but then gave up… well nobody will notice! Or what about not being stuck in traffic at 7 AM every morning. If you used to iron your clothes, now you can join the rest of us!

But seriously, do we just like to complain? Because working from home has been Effin boring, but the workplace was also horrible! Ah, sure, we all need a little rant every now and then, so I guess you’d rather ramble on wearing your fluffiest robe, are we right?
